Booking a photographer is an important decision and you should know what to expect. No need to worry, I have 7 years of experience in photography.
When you book with me, your session will feel natural and laid-back. But we might do some weird experimenting if you’re up for it! I have a gift for using light, props, and any location to my advantage to produce unique images. These gifts are my secret weapons when shooting with you.

Hello! If you’re down here, you’re probably wanting to actually learn some things about me as a person outside of photography. My name is Laynee (pronounced Lay-nee). I’m from a small town in Iowa just 10 minutes east of Ames.
I live in Des Moines with my husband, our three cats and our dog Margot. I moved here shortly after graduating college from ISU in 2019 and currently work a full-time corporate job.

I spend all of my free time usually working on sessions but when I finally get a break from both jobs I love to watch movies. A lot of my creative ideas come from movies or music!
I'm INFJ & enneagram 4 if you care about that kind of thing! I’m shy and an introvert but I would say I’m pretty spicy once you get to know me. I’m weird and fully embrace it!
